Content Management Systems (CMS)
FitzGerald Design & Marketing can create and implement either custom or open source Content Management Systems.
A CMS, or sometimes called a Web CMS, is a web application that is used to control and edit your website. This can be very handy when you frequently update content of your site, such as the Latest News or FAQ sections. In that case you simply login into your CMS, like you would to a Gmail/Hotmail account, and type in the news you want to show on your website and click the publish button. Voila! Your new text/content is displayed immediately on your website - no software required, and you are in complete control of what you put on your website.
For larger and more complex requirements we use an open source CMS called Drupal, which is used throughout the world and renown for its robust and secure infrastructure.
